This apartment is a great place to have as a base for exploring Venice. Very stylish and lovely to come back to at the end of a long day of walking. Excellent restaurants in the square close by, and very peaceful (it is located on a passage that ends at the waterside, so you don’t get lots of people walking past all the time). WIFI is good

Alessia’s place is actually much nicer than described in the pictures. The family room was our family’s respite at the end of a long day of walking around Venice. When returned to our home away from home the apartment was temp was a welcome cool. I had a family of 4 (husband, 70 yr old mother-in-law and 14yo son. Everyone had their own room for privacy and enjoyed their space. The kitchen had coffee supplies and laundry detergent which we happily used. The washer was super convenient and we hung dry our clothes on metal heating rods that worked perfectly. This was our first time using airbnb, but after months of reading reviews I was extremely impressed with the entire process from communication via the airbnb portal, to check-in to check out. Alessia even helped us secure transportation from the train station when we arrived. The location was awesome, just short walk to St Mark’s Square which was filled with lively entertainment of people watching, beautiful monuments, at least 3 outdoor jazz restaurants that we enjoyed. We used Rick Steves for our resource for tours and getting oriented with Venice and all the top sites were well within walking distance of Alessia’s home.

Location The place is in a great location near the Rialto bridge and just enough off the beaten path. Walking distance to everything. Check-in /communication Alessandro met us at the apartment to give us the keys and show us the place. He was the main point of contact during our stay but both were responsive. Bathroom/shower It has two bathrooms and 2 showers which is nice for a group. Kitchen We didn’t use the kitchen but everything was available if you wanted to cook. WiFi Was fast and stable. I would definitely stay here again!
